Growing Perennials in Your Flower Garden
Perennials extend beyond one growing season. Herbaceous perennials generally die at the end of the growing season but send up new shoots the following season. Woody perennials, such as trees and shrubs, do not die but grow larger each year. Perennials come in a wide array of crayon colors with a flowering season that spans from winter to fall. Best of all, they grow fuller and more beautiful with each passing year.
