Hollyhock - Queeny Purple

The Hollyhock 'Queeny Purple', 'Alcea rosea 'Queeny Purple', is the shortest and first purple Hollyhock available as a single color. With a plant width of 1-2' and a height of 20-30", it is perfect for smaller space gardens. "Queeny Purple' will flower early in the spring. Perfect for cuttings, the purple flowers are 3-4" wide but appear larger on their dwarf plant. Hollyhock must be watered heavily during the growing season and should be planted in full sun. Great for cut flowers or planted with Salvia 'Snow Hill' or Veronica 'Icicles'. 2004 All-America Selection.
