The Asarum American Ginger, 'Asarum canadense 'American Ginger', is a wonderful ground cover that is grown for its foliage rather than it's flower. It has a plant height of 6-8ö and is extremely heat tolerant. The redish to green flower blooms on æAmerican Gingerİ appear in early spring and continue into late spring. æAmerican Gingerİ will do wonderful in rock gardens or as a border. Try mixing colors of other groundcovers with æAmerican Gingerİ such as Ajuga æChocolate Chipİ or Houttuynia æChameleonİ.
