Little Pinkie Vinca

The Vinca Little Pinkie, 'Catharanthus roseus', is the perfect plant for that really hot and dry location. Little Pinkie Vincas are especially useful for the southern or desert climates or hard to maintain hot spots near a concrete or reflecting wall. It blooms best when other plants are hurting from the heat. Little Pinkies can be grown as a perennial in frost free winter areas. The flowers are 1 to 1/2 inch phlox- like pink blooms with a dark center. This plant is also known as devil's eye or sorcerer's violet.
