The Potentilla 'Goldfinger', Potentilla Fruticosa 'Goldfinger', is a very popular cultivar. Its globe shaped flower is nearly 2" across with deep golden yellow flowers. It blooms all summer. It has a compact habit and the showy display of flowers makes this an outstanding Potentilla. Besides blooming into late fall, it is also deer resistant. It is widely regarded as one the best yellow-flowering potentilla cultivars. Shear each Spring to control size and shape.
