Lily - Tiger - Salmon Twinkle
The Tiger Lily Salmon Twinkle, 'Lilium' is the traditional Tiger Lily that has strongly recurved, brilliant yellow and pink flowers with prominent stamens. It is certianly a decorative species with bright curled flowers. The Tiger Lily is a vigorous grower and will thrive even in poor soil. You can expect lots of charming speckled flowers per bulb from this excellent naturalizer. The Tiger Lily comes from Japan and has been cultivated there for a long time. Von Siebold's name will always be connected with this lily because he introduced the first bulb to the west. The petals of the Tiger Lily are sharply reflexed, somewhat pendulous, and very sweet-smelling.
